How to pick what facial I want?

With a wide range of different treatment modalities, we’ve made it super simple to decide which facial to choose. Simply pick your Level (Level 1, 2 or 3) depending on budget and this will determine how many modalities we use in the facial.

Each level corresponds to the number of modalities. Possible modalities include: Chemical Peels, Microdermabrasion, LED Light Therapy or Oxygen Infusion. The most popular would be Level 2 by far!

If you are unsure what treatment you want or need, there is an option in our online booking called “Not Sure Which Facial”. This will block out enough time to allow us to see your skin when you come in and decide what options are best for you and discussing this on the day.

Chemical Peels

We have a wide range of chemical peels available! With over 12 professional peel solutions from Ultraceuticals and Lira Clinical combined, Sam will determine which is most suitable for you on the day of your appointment depending on your concerns, amount of downtime and budget.

Oxygen Infusion

This relaxing and results driven treatment utilises Hyperbaric Oxygen to promote the delivery of Intraceuticals professional strength serums to the skin which visibly plumps and hydrates the skin to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Microdermabrasion

This treatment involves the use of a diamond tip wand and suction to gently abrade the surface of the skin leaving a more even skin tone and texture. This treatment helps speed up the skin cell turnover cycle which slows as we age, keeping the skin plump and hydrated as well as increasing the efficacy of your products at home.

IPL Skin Rejuvenation

IPL Skin Rejuvenation is a light based aesthetic treatment that actively targets and reduces skin irregularities to promote a clearer, younger and healthier complexion. The treatment can target different concerns such as hyperpigmentation (dark spots), broken capillaries or red spots, acne and of course ANTI-AGEING!

The amount of treatments required will vary for person to person depending on severity of concern and individual results. This will be discussed with you in clinic.

LED Light Therapy

At Simply Skin we are OBSESSED with LED Light Therapy. This treatment is great for everyone and has absolutely no downtime! It is a fantastic stand alone treatment or as an add-on to boost other treatments. Our LED machine is medical grade and has 5 different wavelengths of light giving us the ability to customise every LED treatment to your individual needs.

Blue Light (415nm) - Works to clear congestion and kills acne-causing bacteria.

Green Light (520nm) - Assists with skin tone correction and aids detoxification to reduce redness and irritation for a balanced, calm complexion.

Yellow Light (590nm) - Stimulates collagen production and assists wound repair to naturally heal and regenerate skin from within.

Red Light (633nm) - Increases blood circulation and lymphatic flow to encourage cellular renewal and promote a youthful complexion.

Near Infrared Light (830nm) - Increases white blood cell production to regenerate, rejuvenate, tighten and repair inflamed and ageing skin.

Factor 4

This incredible treatment involves administering a serum containing a super-concentration of your own rich growth factors and cytokines using a skin needling device. The serum is derived from two vials of blood taken from you before your treatment. The blood then goes through a 6-9 hour incubation process to separate the cellular matter and extract the super concentrated rich growth factors and cytokines from your blood. You will then come in for a course of four treatments at 5-10 day intervals.

This treatment is amazing for acne scarring, stretch marks and loss of volume and firmness of the skin, and can be administered to any area of the body.

What to expect immediately post-treatment?

Skin redness can persist for up to 24-48 hours and occasionally this may last 2 days. You may also experience mild bruising or swelling around your eyes and lips. After this you may experience some dryness so do ensure to keep the skin nice and hydrated. Once you have completed your course, the skin will be more plump, hydrated and firmer.
